News Articles > Warner throws five picks Week 8

(TheHuddle) The Associated Press reports Arizona Cardinals QB Kurt Warner was 27-for-46 for 242 yards with two touchdowns and five interceptions Week 8 against the Carolina Panthers. He also fumbled the ball away once.

Analysis: This was certainly one of the worst performances by Warner since the 2002 game against Seattle but keep in mind he has looked sharp for much of the season and he was bound to have a rough outing at some point. Regardless, Warner is still a solid No. 1 fantasy quarterback worthy of starting every week for an Arizona team that is likely to be playing deep into the playoffs once again.
