With their 161 points, Golden Domers is now the proud record-holder of the 11th-highest weekly point total in league history.

Golden Domers were led to their 36 point victory by a 30 point effort from Drew Brees, who tore apart the Detroit Lions defense for 351 passing yards and 2 passing TDs. With this performance, Brees was the number 5 ranked quarterback for week 16. They also got help from a 30 point effort from Marques Colston, who got by the Detroit Lions defense for 99 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs.

"It was a workman-like effort," Golden Domers coach Bill Moore said.

Air Power were helped out in a losing cause by a 35 point effort from Peyton Manning, who tore apart the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 364 passing yards and 3 passing TDs in addition to 1 rushing yards. With this performance, Manning was the number 3 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 16. They also got help from a 26 point effort from Derrick Ward, who tore apart the Carolina Panthers defense for 215 rushing yards.

"I take full responsibility for this loss," Air Power coach David Dunlop said.

Air Power drew the short straw with their schedule this week, as their point total would have resulted in a win against 9 out of 10 other potential opponents in week 16.

This brings the record for Golden Domers to 8-5, and drops Air Power to a record of 9-4.
