.Santana Moss (RotoWire) Moss caught five passes for 38 yards in Week 11. Analysis: The 'Skins are unable to protect Campbell which prevents them from utilizing Moss's speed down field.5 hours
.Clary carted off with ankle injury (FFChamps) San Diego Chargers' tackle Jeromey Clary was carted off the field Sunday with a left ankle injury. Clary injured the ankle when a Bronco defender rolled up on his leg. He did not return to San Diego's 32-3 rout of division rival Denver. Analysis: In the post-game presser, coach Norv Turner alluded to Clary's injury potentially being of the significant variety. San Diego's offense is purring right now, but every chain is only as strong as it's weakest link...Brandyn Dombrowski is Clary's backup, and will most likely be the man who steps up and tries to avoid being that weak link.6 hours
.Chargers | Rivers effective Week 11 (KFFL) The Associated Press reports San Diego Chargers QB Philip Rivers went 17-for-22 for 145 yards and one touchdown in Week 11. 8 hours
.Ochocinco catches four balls in loss (Rotoworld) Chad Ochocinco caught four balls for 67 yards in Week 11. Analysis: Ochocinco was covered by Nnamdi Asomugha for most of the game, seeing only five targets. He's usually in the double digits. Cincinnati's Week 12 opponent -- Cleveland -- doesn't have a corner capable of stopping The Ocho.8 hours
.Ray Rice (RotoWire) Rice ran the ball 20 times for 71 yards and caught seven passes for 64 yards in Sunday's 17-15 loss to Indianapolis. Analysis: Willis McGahee saw some work for the second straight week, rushing the ball six times for 25 yards, although he was stuffed on consecutive plays at the goal line in the fourth quarter. Even though Rice did not score on Sunday, he still put up 135 yards from scrimmage and caught seven passes.9 hours
.Rivers held to 145 yards in Week 11 (Rotoworld) Philip Rivers completed 17-of-22 passes for 145 yards and one touchdown against the Broncos in Week 11. Analysis: He started the game 11-of-12 with the Broncos showing no pass rush whatsoever. Rivers was nearly flawless for the second straight week, but the Chargers stopped passing after jumping out to an early lead. He'll bounce back with a stronger fantasy performance next week against the Chiefs.9 hours
.Joseph Addai (RotoWire) Addai (finger) ran 19 times for 74 yards with a touchdown in Sunday's 17-15 win at Baltimore. Analysis: Surprisingly, Addai was not involved much in the passing game, catching just one pass for seven yards on Sunday. Indianapolis has been leaning on Addai more lately, even though rookie Donald Brown has returned from his shoulder injury. Brown had only four carries for 10 yards, so even though Addai hasn't made many big plays in the running game this year, he's getting a lot of work in general and receiving most of the goal-line carries.10 hours
.Moss gets five catches in loss (Rotoworld) Santana Moss caught five passes for 38 yards in Sunday's loss to the Cowboys. Analysis: It's more of the same for Moss. He runs short crossing routes that end up as small gains. Moss hasn't scored since Week 4 and must be benched against the Eagles next week.10 hours
.Jennings goes for 121 yards, touchdown (Rotoworld) Greg Jennings caught five balls for 121 yards and a touchdown in the Packers' Week 11 win over San Francisco. Analysis: How about his first 100-yard game since Week 4. The Packers' improved protection with Mark Tauscher at right tackle and Chad Clifton on the blind side allowed them to take more vertical shots than usual. Jennings also showed terrific after-catch running skills on his 64-yard touchdown, which he caught at the intermediate level. He's a high-end WR2 play against Detroit in Week 12.11 hours
.Clayton does nothing again (Rotoworld) Mark Clayton caught one pass for 10 yards in Sunday's loss to the Colts. Analysis: Clayton now has three total catches in his last three games. He's waiver wire fodder.11 hours
.Rice piles up yardage again (Rotoworld) Ray Rice rushed 20 times for 71 yards and caught seven passes for 61 yards in Sunday's loss to the Colts. Analysis: It was disappointing to see Willis McGahee get two crucial goal-line carries while Rice watched from the sideline. But other than that, Rice did his thing. He hasn't been held under 100 total yards since Week 3 and must be in lineups even in a brutal matchup against the Steelers next week.11 hours
.Shockey catches two balls for 17 yards (Rotoworld) Jeremy Shockey caught two balls for 17 yards in Week 11. Analysis: Drew Brees was held under 200 yards for the first time since Week 4, so someone was going to get weeded out. Shockey also wasn't helped by backup David Thomas' best game as a Saint (4-66-1). Shockey's been playing at a Pro Bowl level all year and isn't likely to lose so much production to Thomas going forward, but we'd reserve him against New England in Week 12.11 hours
.Addai dominates backfield in win (Rotoworld) Joseph Addai rushed 19 times for 74 yards with a touchdown and caught one pass for seven yards in Sunday's win over the Ravens. Analysis: There was no committee on this day and Addai's finger was not an issue. He broke through some shaky Ravens' tackles easily and was called upon to run out the clock. Addai will be a decent RB2 option against the Texans next week.12 hours
.Jones-Drew nets 84 yards, TD in Week 11 ... (Rotoworld) Maurice Jones-Drew rushed 25 times for 66 yards and a touchdown and caught for passes for 18 yards Sunday as the Jaguars topped the Bills 18-15. Analysis: The Jags pounded the ball with Jones-Drew for most of the day, as expected. He had trouble breaking free, but still netted 84 yards and managed to find pay dirt on three-yard scamper in the second quarter. He remains a top fantasy play heading into next week's matchup with the 49ers.12 hours
.Hasselbeck throws for 231 yards in loss (Rotoworld) Matt Hasselbeck completed 19-of-26 passes for 231 yards and one interception against the Vikings before giving way to Seneca Wallace late in the fourth quarter. Analysis: Disappointing numbers given the Seahawks' early deficit and lack of rushing success, as Hasselbeck had attempted 50 passes in each of the past two games. He missed a rushing touchdown by a half-yard before leaving.12 hours
.Ravens inactives for Week 11 (FFChamps) The Baltimore Ravens have announced the following players as inactive for today's game against the Indianapolis Colts: LB Terrell Suggs, T Oniel Cousins, QB John Beck, DT Brandon McKinney, NT Kelly Talavou, RB Matt Lawrence, G Tony Moll, and RB Jalen Parmele. Analysis: Todd Heap is active and will play Sunday, however he is going up against a stingy Colts defense. Nose tackle Haloti Ngata is back in the lineup which may hurt Joseph Addai's and Donald Brown's day at the office.16 hours
.Browns inactives for Week 11 (FFChamps) The Cleveland Browns have announced the following players as inactive for today's game against the Detroit Lions: WR Brian Robiskie, WR Jake Allen, RB Jerome Harrison, DE David Veikune, LB Arnold Harrison, G Billy Yates, DB Coye Francies, and QB Brett Ratliff. Analysis: Jamal Lewis is active and will start against the Lions. If there is a game to use Lewis, it would be against the Detroit defense. He will be backed up by Chris Jennings since Harrison is inactive. Joshua Cribbs, who was listed as questionable, is also active.16 hours
.Harrison, Robiskie among Browns inactive... (Rotoworld) Browns declared RB Jerome Harrison, WR Brian Robiskie, DB Coye Francies, LB David Veikune, OL Billy Yates, WR Jake Allen and LB Arnold Harrison inactive for Week 11 against the Lions. Analysis: Harrison has been passed on the depth chart by Chris Jennings, while Robiskie has one catch all season.16 hours
.Browns | Harrison inactive (KFFL) Adam Schefter, of ESPN, reports Cleveland Browns RB Jerome Harrison has been deactivated for Week 11. 16 hours
.Harrison doesn't want to talk (Rotoworld) Jerome Harrison is refusing to talk to the media because he might say what he really thinks. Analysis: Harrison clearly isn't happy that he's been passes on the depth chart by Chris Jennings. Coach Eric Mangini didn't give any real reason for Harrison getting zero carries against the Ravens on Monday night, simply saying that different packages are for different runners. Even though Harrison flashed potential when Jamal Lewis was out earlier this season, he can now be safely dropped in all leagues.1 day
.Stroud ruled out for Week 11 (FFChamps) Buffalo Bills' defensive tackle Marcus Stroud (knee) has been ruled out for the team's Week 11 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Analysis: Buffalo has the worst run defense in the league. Stroud is Buffalo's best run-stopper. Maurice Jones-Drew scores touchdowns whenever he wants to. He plays the Bills this weekend. How do you see this story ending? MJD was our No. 1 fantasy play at running back this weekend whether the big fella in the middle for the Bills played or not, but without Stroud clogging the lanes, Jones-Drew will probably ... (More)2 days
.Coles probable (FFChamps) Cincinnati Bengals' wide receiver Laveranues Coles (head) practiced fully on Friday, and is listed as probable for the team's game versus the Oakland Raiders. Analysis: Coles will most likely be good-to-go for Sunday. You have to think Chad Ochocinco will be blanketed by all-world cover specialist Nnamdi Asomugha for most of the contest, so Coles may get even more looks than normal this weekend (though, as it stands, he has led the team in targets over the past two weeks). Coles is no longer the deep threat he was in New York, but he is a v... (More)2 days
.Browns | Jennings seeing more playing time (KFFL) Tony Grossi, of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, reports Cleveland Browns RB Chris Jennings will see more playing time at the expense of RB Jamal Lewis and RB Jerome Harrison. Jennings saw seven carries in the team's Week 10 game. Lewis had 10 carries and Harrison never touched the ball. Head coach Eric Mangini said, "We wanted to take a look at Chris because I think he's earned a look based on the things that he's done and that was something that we did this past week. If he continues to progress in practice, I think that will continue to be the case." Lewis said Jennings has gotten more reps during practices this ... (More)2 days
.Gates practices, is probable (FFChamps) San Diego Chargers' tight end Antonio Gates practiced in full on Friday, and is listed as probable against the Denver Broncos. Analysis: It's the biggest game of the year in the AFC West (a.k.a., the ONLY game in the AFC West that will matter all year), so expect Gates to suit-up and be roaming the middle of the suddenly Charmin-esque Broncos' defense come Sunday. Unfortunately for Gates, a certain Brian Dawkins also calls this territory home, and though Denver has shown cracks the last few weeks, we think Dawkins' presence downgrades Gates to a borderline No. 1/No. 2 fantasy tight end this weekend.2 days
.Lewis limited again, listed as questionable (FFChamps) Cleveland Browns' running back Jamal Lewis (ankle) was limited again in Friday's practice, and is listed as questionable to face the Detroit Lions on Sunday. Analysis: Speculation is that Lewis will play through the ankle injury, and he could wind up being a top-20 fantasy back this weekend, only because of his matchup with the pitiful Lions. Lewis owners need to be concerned with more than just their boy's ankle, though, as coach Eric Mangini alluded earlier in the week to a desire to get rookie Chris Jennings more involved in the Brownies' backfield mix. On NFL.com, Jennings is actually listed ahead... (More)2 days
.Maurice Jones-Drew (RotoWire) Jones-Drew gets a great matchup this week against the Bills, who rank last in the NFL in run defense. Analysis: Not that you really need an excuse to start Jones-Drew, but this game has as much potential as Tennessee's Chris Johnson had heading into the Week 10 matchup against the Bills. They have several defensive starters out, including Marcus Stroud, and have been getting shredded by the run all season.2 days
.Maurice Jones-Drew (RotoWire) Jones-Drew, in the wake of the last-second kneel-down that cost thousands of fantasy owners their games on Sunday, has promised to score more to make up for his fantasy misdeed, according to ESPN.com. Analysis: Jones-Drew noted that "you should tell those 10,000 (the approximate number of ESPN players who lost their fantasy games last week due to Jones-Drew not scoring that final touchdown)) I will score next time."2 days
.Hasselbeck resumes practicing regularly (Rotoworld) Matt Hasselbeck (ribs, shoulder) practiced on a Wednesday for the first time since Week 8. Analysis: It's a good sign that Hasselbeck is getting a little healthier as the season goes on. He's thrown for more than 300 yards in two straight games as the Seahawks have gone pass heavy. Considering they are facing a tough Vikings' front seven without Julius Jones this week, expect another 35-40 attempts. New starting running back excels as a pass-catcher as well.3 days
.Addai practices (FFChamps) Colts running back Joseph Addai practiced on Wednesday and is not on the team's injury report, according to the Indianapolis Star. Addai injured a finger on his right hand during Sunday night's win against the Patriots. Analysis: We figured it might take more than a finger injury to keep Addai on the sideline. Fantasy owners should plan to use him as usual this weekend.4 days
.Shockey: LeBron would run 4.9 forty (Rotoworld) Jeremy Shockey doesn't believe that LeBron James could play in the NFL, and estimates that LeBron runs a 4.9 forty. Analysis: "Lebron James could not play in the NFL!" Shockey tweeted Wednesday. "Espn is crazy to even think he could even make a practice squad. Hes a 4.9 40 time." James was a first-team all-Ohio receiver as a prep sophomore and led his team to the state semifinals as a junior before quitting to focus on hoops. At 6'8/250, though, a 4.9 wouldn't be very impressive.4 days
.Greg Jennings (RotoWire) Jennings (knee contusion) participated fully in practice Wednesday and does not appear on the injury report. Analysis: The fact that Jennings doesn't even appear on the injury report after being expected to miss some time this week is a ringing endorsement of his health. He'll be ready to go Sunday against the 49ers in a battle between two NFC playoff contenders.4 days
.Joseph Addai (RotoWire) Addai (finger) fully participated in practice on Wednesday, the Indianapolis Star reports. Analysis: He left Sunday's win over New England in the first quarter due to the injury but later returned. It doesn't look like an issue for this week's game against Baltimore.4 days
.Joseph Addai not on Week 11 injury repor... (Rotoworld) Joseph Addai is not on the Colts' Week 11 injury report. Analysis: Addai missed over a quarter of action in Sunday night's win over the Patriots with a finger injury, but was cleared to return and finished with a pair of touchdowns. He'll be a low-end RB2 option this week against the Ravens.4 days
.Joseph Addai playing quite well (Rotoworld) Colts GM Bill Polian says he believes Joseph Addai had "his two best games in a long, long time" in Weeks 9 and 10. Analysis: "It's all Joseph," Polian said. "There's not a lot of running room. He has made big plays." Addai has tallied four scores and 180 yards on 35 touches (5.14 average) in the last two weeks. He's consistently exploding through the hole again and will be difficult to sit in fantasy leagues even against the Ravens in Week 11. Rookie Donald Brown no longer appears to be a huge threat.5 days
.Jennings injury update (TheHuddle) The Green Bay Press-Gazette reports Green Bay Packers WR Greg Jennings (knee) suffered a knee contusion in Week 10 and is expected to miss some practice time or be limited in practice this week. Analysis: Jennings' disappointing season continues. Don't be surprised if his availability for Sunday's San Francisco game is in significant question by the end of the week.5 days
.Packers | Jennings injury update (KFFL) Rob Demovsky, of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, reports Green Bay Packers WR Greg Jennings (knee) suffered a knee contusion in Week 10 and is expected to miss some practice time or be limited in practice this week. 5 days
.Chad Johnson (RotoWire) Johnson had his worst game of the season in the Week 10 win over the Steelers, catching just two passes for 29 yards. Analysis: Johnson was frequently targeted over the middle, but he and Carson Palmer could not hook up very often, and later he was exclusively in double-coverage.5 days
.Ravens | Rice scores Week 10 (KFFL) The Associated Press reports Baltimore Ravens RB Ray Rice had 20 carries for 89 yards with a touchdown Week 10. He also caught three passes for 15 receiving yards. 6 days
.Clayton held without a catch in Week 10 (Rotoworld) Mark Clayton caught zero passes in Week 10 against the Browns. Analysis: Clayton was targeted just two times on the night in a game where the Ravens didn't ask Joe Flacco and the passing game to do much. Clayton has been relatively quiet in the past few weeks. He and the Ravens have the Colts at home in Week 11.6 days
.Rice scores only TD in game on MNF (Rotoworld) Ray Rice rushed for 89 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries in Monday night's 16-0 win over the Browns. Analysis: Rice also added three catches for 15 yards and scored his 13-yard TD against a Browns defense that only had ten players on the field. Many of his carries came late in the game when the Ravens were running out the clock and trying to get out of town. Rice and the Ravens face the Colts in Week 11 before having Pittsburgh at home in Week 12.6 days
.Matt Hasselbeck (RotoWire) Hasselbeck (shoulder) threw for 315 yards and a touchdown Sunday on 26-of-52 passing for his second consecutive 300-yard game. He threw two interceptions. Analysis: Hasselbeck's injured shoulder did not pose a problem as he threw a season-high 52 passes. The Seahawks likely will throw a ton in Week 11 as well, as they play at the Vikings, who boast one of the league's best run defenses.6 days
.Greg Jennings (RotoWire) Jennings (knee contusion) will likely miss some practice time this week, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports. Analysis: It doesn't sound like the Week 11 availability of Jennings -- who caught four passes for 45 yards Sunday -- is in any danger, but we'll monitor his status nonetheless.6 days
.Greg Jennings has knee contusion (Rotoworld) Packers coach Mike McCarthy confirmed Monday that Greg Jennings is dealing with a right knee contusion. Analysis: The bruise cost Jennings a few plays in Week 10 and may limit his practice time this week, but he doesn't appear in any danger of missing Week 11. Green Bay faces San Francisco's up-and-down pass defense next Sunday.6 days
.Packers | Jennings injured in Week 10 (KFFL) Tom Pelissero, of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, reports Green Bay Packers WR Greg Jennings (knee) injured his knee during Week 10. He will likely miss some practice time this week. 6 days
.MJD first to top 100 on Rex Ryan since 2... (Rotoworld) With 123 yards Sunday, Maurice Jones-Drew became the first running back to top 100 rushing yards against a Rex Ryan defense since Larry Johnson accomplished the feat in 2006. Analysis: Much of that can be attributed to the loss of NT Kris Jenkins (ACL), but Jones-Drew is enjoying an excellent season. He leads the league with 12 touchdowns while averaging 120 yards per game and 5.1 yards per carry in his first stint as the Jags' every-down back.6 days
.Addai to have finger checked out (Rotoworld) Despite finishing out the game Sunday night, Joseph Addai was still expected to visit the team doctor to asses a finger injury that forced him from the game in the first half. Analysis: "Got to get it looked at," Addai said. He was able to play through the injury in the second half, so it's not likely to be an injury that will affect his status for Week 11.6 days
.Jennings misses plays with leg injury (Rotoworld) Greg Jennings appeared to miss some plays with a right leg injury during Sunday's win over the Cowboys. Analysis: Coach Mike McCarthy didn't mention anything about Jennings after the game, so it's unclear exactly what happened. It doesn't sound like anything serious at all, but check the practice reports this week.6 days
.Addai scores twice in win over Patriots (Rotoworld) Joseph Addai rushed 10 times for 41 yards and a touchdown and caught two passes for 27 yards and a touchdown in Week 10 against the Patriots. Analysis: Addai did a good deal of damage despite sitting out most of the first quarter and all of the second quarter with a finger injury. He hit holes with authority and found pay dirt twice, netting a 4.1 YPC along the way. Addai and the Colts take on a tough Ravens defense in Week 11.7 days
