| Charlie Freitas reports that 3 teams are still in the hunt for the coveted playoff berth and the right to fight for the "Gran Caralho" trophy, this with only one game left in the regular season. The Killers are a game up on the Yorkies and Winos but have to play the powerful Pussies in their finale, who are themselves over 100 points ahead of the pretenders should they loose. The Yorkies still spin their magic and could come up big in their game against the strong finishing Gallegos. Meanwhile, the Winos are also still alive. Their coach, Jose de los Pantelones Cortos Silva, was so despondent after losing last week that he was seen loading up the team donkey for a drive to Washington to see if he could get in on the bail-out craze, thinking his team was out of the money already and in need of better positioning in next year's draft. When told they still had a chance, he immediately ran back into his bunker (aka wine cellar) to draw up war plans for the upcoming contest with the riviled (and stale) Cupcakes from the swamps of lower middlesex county. Three teams within 10 total points for the year of each other!!! A fight to the finish...
