(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Dec 28, 2008) In a week 17 Paul's Fantasy Football League (PFFL) intra-divisional showdown, Tappa Kegga Day squeaked by a tough Sken's Irish Alley Pissers team by a score of 79.09 to 78.17, silencing a partisan crowd of 74,102.

Jason Campbell

Tappa Kegga Day were led to their 0.92 point victory by a 21.70 point effort from Jason Campbell, who snuck past the San Francisco 49ers defense for 156 passing yards and 1 passing TD in addition to 39 rushing yards. They also got help from a 21.30 point effort from Marques Colston, who beat the Carolina Panthers defense for 123 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.

"We managed to eke out a win," Tappa Kegga Day coach Mark Stecklein & Luke Stecklein said.

Sken's Irish Alley Pissers were helped out in a losing cause by a 27.40 point effort from Matt Schaub, who beat the Chicago Bears defense for 328 passing yards and 2 passing TDs. With this performance, Schaub was the number 3 ranked quarterback for week 17. They also got help from a 13.90 point effort from Muhsin Muhammad, who got by the New Orleans Saints defense for 79 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.

"They just made the big plays and we didn't," Sken's Irish Alley Pissers coach Steve Kennedy and Don Counsell said.

Tappa Kegga Day took advantage of their schedule this week, as their point total would have gone for a loss against 9 out of 12 other potential opponents in week 17.

This brings the record for Tappa Kegga Day to 8-6, and drops Sken's Irish Alley Pissers to a record of 7-7.
